About Dino Kingdom Manchester

Dino Kingdom, is a spectacular outdoor dinosaur experience aimed at family audiences with impressive installations of animated dinosaurs with electronic moving parts. Animatronics include arms moving up and down, tails swaying side-to-side, heads moving up and down, eyes blinking and jaws opening wide with roaring sound effects. Immersive 3D, AR, and Projection Mapping technology makes Dino Kingdom the most unique event of its kind. With many more activities and immersive elements of the kingdom to enjoy, Dino Kingdom is an experience that people of any age can enjoy.

Dino Kingdom will be landing in Manchester on 23rd-July-15th August. The event will be open from 10 am to 7 pm daily with the last entry at 5 pm. Each visitor will be able to explore the kingdom for up to 3 hours.

The main entrance to the park is on Wythenshawe Road. Pedestrian access is available off Altrincham Road.

By road:

Leave M60 at Junction 5, or M56 at Junction 3, onto Princess Parkway; turn off onto B5167, Wythenshawe Road, west bound. Then follow the yellow event signage.  Go past the entrance to Wythenshawe Park on Wythenshawe Road, then turn left onto Moor Road and then left onto Altrincham Road, then after half a mile, turn left into Wythenshawe Park. Use Postcode M23 1DW.

By bus:

Bus 101 from Princess Parkway (heading from City Centre). Bus 179 along Altrincham Road (from Stockport direction). Bus 370 from Didsbury along Wythenshawe Road, or from Altrincham Interchange along Wythenshawe Road. Bus stops are located nearby on Princess Parkway, Wythenshawe Road and Altrincham Road

By tram:

The nearest Metrolink stop is Wythenshawe Park, on the Cornbrook to Manchester Airport line. To get to the Park and Hall, walk east along Wythenshawe Road (B5167) for about 3/4 mile. The park is on your right.

Accessibility:

The pathways are a mixture of hard standing, grass and dirt track, and temporary plastic pathway. The event route is mostly accessible to wheelchair users and for pushchairs. Please be aware that some areas may have a few steps and some uneven flooring as we are on a public park site. Our teams onsite are ready to assist any wheelchair users where possible and offer route guidance and advice as we would like all our visitors to enjoy the event and make the most of their visit.

FAQs 

Are the fairground rides included in the ticket price or are they extra?
No. There will be an additional cost for certain activities at Dino Kingdom such as fairground rides.

Arriving earlier/later than my ticket time?
You do need to arrive at the event at the entry time you chose when you booked your tickets. This is to avoid overcrowding and for health and safety purposes. If you arrive a little early or a little late, don’t worry, you will not be refused entry to the event. Please note the last entry is at 17:00.

Can I bring a stroller/pushchair/buggy?
Yes. However, we do not have facilities for storing them. Dino Kingdom takes place in a grass field with no hard-standing paths. The ground is flat, however, after excess rain, the conditions are likely to become muddy. Please note that we do not hire out buggies at the event. 

Can I bring children’s scooters/bikes/skates?
No. Children’s scooters/skates/bicycles will not be allowed to enter the event, and we do not have facilities for storing these items.

Can I bring my dogs along?
No. Dogs or pets will not be allowed to enter Dino Kingdom except assistance dogs.

Can I change or cancel my tickets?
We are not able to offer refunds, duplicates or exchanges for unwanted tickets or tickets bought in error.

Dino Kingdom is an outdoor event, and cancellations will not be offered the event of poor weather.

If extreme, unsafe weather conditions force us to cancel the event, you will be offered an alternative date. We will communicate any cancellations by 8am on the day of the event. You will be notified by email with your options.

Can I swap my tickets if I purchase the wrong date?
Yes, we can swap your tickets to another date if that date is not already sold out – and if you give us enough notice.
We can only swap tickets when given over 7 days notice, we cannot swap tickets the week of your event.

Do I need to print my tickets?
You can print your tickets or show the tickets on your phone to our team at the entrance. Please have the barcode showing so that your tickets can be scanned on your phone or your printed tickets. 

Do you offer free entry for a personal assistant?
A disabled person purchasing a ticket may bring one essential companion free of charge. Please purchase a ticket first and then apply for a personal assistant ticket. To apply for personal assistant tickets, please fill out the application form here. For any further queries around accessibility please email info@dinokingdom.com

Personal Assistant Ticket applications need to be received a minimum of 3 working days prior to the date you wish to visit. Each application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.  We aim to respond to all Carer Ticket requests within 24 hours.

How do I redeem my discount code?
When buying the ticket on our website, you can only enter the discount code on the page where you select your tickets. The code should be entered before you pay. Once the tickets have been purchased, we cannot apply the discount retrospectively.

How long can I park for?
You can park for up to 3 hours.

How long does it take to experience the event?
On average visitors spend about 2 hours in our event. Please note that your parking ticket is for up to 3 hours.

*Please note that tickets for children aged 2 and under are still required. These should be added to your order before completing your purchase.

**A Family ticket is valid for 4 people, ie. 2 Adults + 2 Children or 1 Adult + 3 Children.

If tickets are still available by the time of the event, they will be available to purchase at the door for an extra £2 per ticket.

The event is open daily from 23rd July to 8th August 2021, from 10 am to 7 pm with the last entry at 6 pm. When selecting tickets, you will be asked to select a time slot, which lasts for 3 hours

Is Dino Kingdom accessible for wheelchair users?

Should I bring a raincoat?
The event takes place outdoors, and as the weather in Manchester can be unpredictable, we recommend bringing a raincoat especially if rain is forecast.

Dino Kingdom is perfect for friends, family and children of all ages.

What is a Child ticket?
A Child ticket is valid for visitors aged 3 to 15 years old. Children aged 2 or under do need a ticket to enter, which is free.

What is a Family ticket?
A Family ticket is valid for 4 people only. A Family ticket is valid for 2 Adults + 2 Children or 1 Adult + 3 Children. Children aged 2 or under do need a ticket to enter, which is free.
