About Dino Kingdom Nottinghamshire

Dino Kingdom, is a spectacular outdoor dinosaur experience aimed at family audiences with impressive installations of animated dinosaurs with electronic moving parts. Animatronics include arms moving up and down, tails swaying side-to-side, heads moving up and down, eyes blinking and jaws opening wide with roaring sound effects. Immersive 3D, AR, and Projection Mapping technology makes Dino Kingdom the most unique event of its kind. With many more activities and immersive elements of the kingdom to enjoy, Dino Kingdom is an experience that people of any age can enjoy.

Dino Kingdom will be landing in Nottinghamshire from 15th– 31st October (Closed for a private function on 17th). The event will be open from 10 am to 7 pm daily with the last entry at 5 pm. Each visitor will be able to explore the kingdom for up to 3 hours.

Use the postcode NG22 9EP for your SatNav, which will bring you to the correct area, please then follow yellow event signage to reach the car park. Please research your route before setting off as some SatNav may attempt to take you on a fruitless adventure through private roads!

Directions:

From Nottingham: A614 – at Ollerton roundabout take turning to A1 – in 2 miles turn left at Thoresby roundabout – drive along the County Road for 1 mile and turn left for Gallery and Courtyard (just before Thoresby Hall Hotel entrance).

From A1: Take turning for Mansfield, Nottingham, A614 – pass Clumber Park on the right and Clumber Park Hotel on the left – at Thoresby roundabout turn right onto the County Road – follow the road for 1 mile and turn left for the Gallery and Courtyard (just before Thoresby Hall Hotel entrance).

FAQs 

Are the fairground rides included in the ticket price or are they extra?
No. There will be an additional cost for the certain activities at Dino Kingdom such as fairground rides.

Arriving earlier/later than my ticket time?
You do need to arrive at the event at the entry time you chose when you booked your tickets. This is to avoid overcrowding and for health and safety purposes. If you arrive a little early or a little late, don’t worry, you will not be refused entry to the event. Please note the last entry is at 17:00.

Can I bring a stroller/pushchair/buggy?
Yes. However, we do not have facilities for storing them. Dino Kingdom takes place in a grass field with no hard-standing paths. The ground is flat, however, after excess rain, the conditions are likely to become muddy. Please note that we do not hire out buggies at the event. 

Can I bring children’s scooters/bikes/skates?
No. Children’s scooters/skates/bicycles will not be allowed to enter the event, and we do not have facilities for storing these items.

Can I bring my dogs along?
No. Dogs or pets will not be allowed to enter Dino Kingdom except assistance dogs.

Can I change or cancel my tickets?
We are not able to offer refunds, duplicates or exchanges for unwanted tickets or tickets bought in error.

Dino Kingdom is an outdoor event, and cancellations will not be offered the event of poor weather.

If extreme, unsafe weather conditions force us to cancel the event, you will be offered an alternative date. We will communicate any cancellations by 8am on the day of the event. You will be notified by email with your options.

Can I swap my tickets if I purchase the wrong date?
Yes, we can swap your tickets to another date if that date is not already sold out – and if you give us enough notice. We can only swap tickets when given over 7 days notice, we cannot swap tickets the week of your event.

Do I need to print my tickets?
You can print your tickets or show the tickets on your phone to our team at the entrance. Please have the barcode showing so that your tickets can be scanned on your phone or your printed tickets. 

Do you offer free entry for personal assistants?
A disabled person purchasing a ticket may bring one essential companion free of charge. Please purchase a ticket first and then apply for a personal assistant ticket. To apply for personal assistant tickets, please fill out the application form here. For any further queries around accessibility please email info@dinokingdom.com

Personal Assistant Ticket applications need to be received a minimum of 3 working days prior to the date you wish to visit. Each application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.  We aim to respond to all Carer Ticket requests within 24 hours.

How do I redeem my discount code?
When buying the ticket on our website, you can only enter the discount code on the page where you select your tickets. The code should be entered before you pay. Once the tickets have been purchased, we cannot apply the discount retrospectively.

How long can I park for?
You can park for up to 3 hours.

How long does it take to experience the event?
On average visitors spend about 2 hours in our event. Please note that your parking ticket is for up to 3 hours.

*Please note that tickets for children aged 2 and under are still required. These should be added to your order before completing your purchase.

**A Family ticket is valid for 4 people, ie. 2 Adults + 2 Children or 1 Adult + 3 Children.

If tickets are still available by the time of the event, they will be available to purchase at the door for an extra £2 per ticket.

Entry
The event is open daily from 15th – 31st October 2021, from 10 am to 7 pm with the last entry at 6 pm. When selecting tickets, you will be asked to select a time slot, which lasts for 3 hours

Is Dino Kingdom accessible for wheelchair users?
Dino Kingdom is wheelchair accessible. However since it takes place in a grass field with no hard standing paths, after excess rain, the conditions are likely to become muddy. Should I bring a raincoat?
The event takes place outdoors, and as the weather in Nottinghamshire can be unpredictable, we recommend bringing a raincoat especially if rain is forecast.

What age range is it suitable for?
Dino Kingdom is perfect for friends, family, and children of all ages.

What is a Child ticket?
A Child ticket is valid for visitors aged 3 to 15 years old. Children aged 2 or under do need a ticket to enter, which is free.

What is a Family ticket?
A Family ticket is valid for 4 people only. A Family ticket is valid for 2 Adults + 2 Children or 1 Adult + 3 Children. Children aged 2 or under do need a ticket to enter, which is free.

Are filming and photography allowed?
Yes, You are welcome to photography and share on social media.
NO Drone film is allowed without permission.
